Not the first time that this happened. A few days ago, this spot appeared on the inside of my bottom lip, left side. It's not a bump, it's level with the surface of my lip. About 1/3 the side of a pea. When I bit my lip on that exact spot yesterday, it got worse, to no surprise. It only hurts when the top of a tooth rubs against it. I know this isn't the best website for this, but any help?
Not me. It's something like this. I believe it's called a Canker Sore.
Also, I'm not diggin' "Ahppositelahk."

I typed your symptoms into WebMD and it told me you have network connectivity problems.

No clue of the name, but just don't agitate it and it'll go away within a week.

Looks a lot like a canker sore.
My dad's a dentist.
Here's your plan of attack
1. get this stuff.
2. wet your fingers before applying it
3. don't lick that portion of your mouth, lest your tongue fall asleep
4. repeat until it goes away.

I HAD NOT ONE BUT TWO CANKER SORES NEXT TO EACH OTHER THAT WERE IN SUCH AN UNFORTUNATELY PLACED LOCATION THAT THEY KEPT MAKING CONTACT WITH EVERYTHING IN MY MOUTH AND SOMEHOW MORPHED INTO ONE AND I STILL HAVE IT AFTER OVER ONE WEEK.

Good luck to you, good sir.

Canker/Cankar/Kanker/Kankar - Either way they're painful little fuckers. Medicine doesn't know much about them. Can be caused by too much acidic food or even stress. I can't drink orange juice without one popping up in a few days. A thousand remedies exist. The best things I've found are to leave them alone.. but if in a bad spot get some orajel. If you want to know what pain feels like take a qtip, damp it, dip it in rock salt, then coat that bastard. Remember that scene in fight club with the Lye and Tyler kissing his hand? Yeah it's like that - but in your mouth on tender cheek meat. It'll burn, it'll bleed, it'll be number for a while. Cuts healing time by a lot though.
I get them a lot. I guess it's my trade off for not having any cavities or tooth problems. I stay away from artificial sweeteners and anything acidic. The worst was I had one on each side of the web on the bottom of your tongue. Horrific.

Ulcer. If they sell TCP where you live put that on it, should go in a day or two.

I just gargled salt water. That little Prius better be gone soon.

I hate those. I get them sometimes, usually from a small cut or something on the inside of my mouth. They can be very painful.
Good news though! a canker sore is not a cold sore, so you dont have STD's in your mouth! (not that cold sores are a big deal, a ton of people have them)

Canker sore. You are going to die. Eventually. But not from this. Swish your mouth with Listerine for a few days. I have no medical reason to recommend that, beyond the fact that I knew a guy who got them all the time and they stopped when he started swishing with Listerine.

canker sore. Not contagious or malevolent other than the annoyance. usually you're born with it and only shows in particular scenarios, like when you're stressed. Or when your diet includes a lot of acidic or spicy food (I'm Mexican so it happens to me a lot lol). The only "cure" is to use salt water, but honestly, that never helped mine, only caused it to hurt like a #@$%^&*.

Dude, use a safety image next time. Please. That picture isn't nsfw, but I really didn't want to see the inside of your mouth.
Eww.

You can get over the counter cream for that. Just drop by a pharmacy shop and ask the pharmacist...

Canker sore! I've had a couple, they hurt like hell for a little while but will go away. I don't know if it's correlated, but I've found that when I soak the thing in mouthwash (yes it burns) it seems to go away quicker.
Try not to bite it anymore, and good luck!

Canker sore. I have them rarely. They suck. They're ulcers of the mouth, so whatever you're doing in your life recently is likely exacerbating the problem. I am unaware of any cure. Better dental care might help, but that's speculative. They have drops you can put on them that sting like a *********** but temporarily numb the pain. Unfortunately, they will also numb your tongue if the residue enters your saliva, so tradeoffs. If you find a cure, please let me know.
